Klamath River, Oregon & California

MaxDepth Aquatics, Inc. conducted a study of periphyton growth in the Klamath River in California from Irongate Dam past the confluence with the Trinity River. This study conducted in September 2004 showed that periphyton growth was relatively low during this period, probably because elevated releases from Iron Gate Dam about two weeks before the survey moved growths of filamentous green algae downstream.
