Deschutes River, Oregon
The Deschutes River basin contains several important rivers and hundreds of lakes. The Deschutes River is utilized for hydropower, irrigation, boating, and fishing. MaxDepth Aquatics, Inc. has been contracted by the Oregon DEQ to assist with TMDL development in the basin. In 2005, this assistance has taken the form of model development for a major lake in the basin.
